AKMG CONVENTION, CALIFORNIA JUNE 26-29TH, 2008 !!

YOUNG AKMG   AND  YOUTH FORUM

The 2008 AKMG convention committee is making plans to present you an exciting and enjoyable time here in Newport Beach. We hope to entice and enthrall the youth to take part in the event and play an active role in the parent organization, as we recognize that the future of the organization depend on them. We invite the young group, following the welcome reception on Thursday, to participate in a variety talent show.  Those of you who are interested to participate please contact Dr Geetha Ashok at 805-341 5189 Email: kashok@aol.com or Dr. Sindu Pillai at 951-285-7091 E mail: sindhupillaimd@yahoo.com

On Friday afternoon (after morning CME) we are planning a focus session on topics such as practice/career management and financial planning.  This will be extremely helpful to the upcoming young physicians to hone their administrative skills. On Friday 27th June 2008 evening, we are arranging a Harbor Cruise in the Newport Harbor, immediately after the dinner. This has been planned exclusively for the youngsters, with a hope to enhance new connections and camaraderie among the medical students, residents, fellows and junior attending physicians! This enigmatic bondage among physicians and families of Kerala heritage has been the corner-stones that support this huge organization.
Don’t miss this youthful extravaganza!
