AKMG will release a Souvenir to commemorate the 2024 Annual Convention in San Diego, California.

We invite original, general interest articles for publication reflecting your thoughts and opinions related to personal life experiences, literary musings - including poetry, travelogues, humor, book reviews, or human interest stories. Articles related to medicine /science are also welcome, as long as they are appealing and informative to a general readership (avoid scientific manuscripts or journal-feel articles). Select photographs and illustrations may be included in these articles for publication.

Guidelines:

Articles

1. Must be in English or Malayalam and limited to 1000 words (max 2 pages).
2. Submit in MS-Word format only. Please spell-check
3. Do not send articles in pdf or jpeg format, as they cannot be edited
4. Include brief author details (title, profession and location) at the bottom of the article.

Photographs / Illustrations:

1. All article photographs must be in JPEG format, and of high resolution (1-2 meg).
2. Photographs / illustrations should be sent as separate attachments in the same email, Do not embed them inside the Word document.
3. Include a full face author photograph (JPEG) as a separate attachment.

The editorial committee reserves the right to accept, reject or edit the submissions as needed. We will try to publish as many as possible, but if the number of submissions is high, some may be reserved for later publication or in the Reporter.

Advertisements & Photo-sponsorships

The Souvenir committee invites advertisements for the magazine from our business community (i.e. vendors of retail merchandise, real estate, insurance, tax & finance consultancies, legal / medical / dental professions, travel / airline, restaurants, jewellery, ayurvedic / spa, garment & fashion oriented businesses – to name a few)

This is an opportunity to reach out to a large number of medical / dental professionals and families, who will be on vacation at the San Diego convention, and we will appreciate your financial support for the event.
