AKMG members currently practicing in the United States could potentially offer valuable perspectives on the demands of the medical profession and provide guidance to aspiring mentees regarding the best course of action.
Expectations for mentors:
1) REVIEW RESUME , PERSONAL STAEMENTS, AND CONDUCT A FEW PRACTICE INTERVIEWS.
2)PROVIDE WITH AN EXTERNSHIP / OBSERVATION WHICH CAN LEAD TO A REFERENCE LETTER.
3) FURNISH A CASE FOR CASE WRITE - UP, RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES, HELP PARTICIPATE IN WRITING SCIENTIFIC PAPERS OR CHAPTERS.
